Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a graphic design background?

No, but it helps. If you have taken the Graphic Design with AI course, you will find this course much easier. For complete beginners, Week 1 starts from zero with no assumptions about prior knowledge.

Is Figma free?

Yes — Figma has a free plan that covers everything in this course. You will not need to pay for any tool during training.

What is the difference between UI and UX?

UX (User Experience) is about how a product works and feels — research, flows, and usability. UI (User Interface) is about how it looks — colours, typography, and visual components. This course teaches both together, which is how real teams work.

Is UI/UX in demand in Pakistan?

Yes and internationally more so. Pakistani freelancers are winning UI/UX contracts on Upwork for US and UK product companies. A strong Figma portfolio can command $20–50 per hour from international clients.

What will my portfolio look like at the end?

You will have at least two full case studies — a mobile app design and your capstone project — plus a component library. These are presented on Behance and ready to share with potential clients or employers.
